Get the tools, connections and knowledge you need to take your business into new markets. Our team understands the challenges you’re facing and is here to support and prepare you.
The health and safety of our community is of paramount importance to us. With concern over the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are postponing all TAP cohorts in Calgary, Lethbridge and Red Deer until further notice. We continue to monitor the situation and are working closely with partners and stakeholders as this situation continues.
If you are a Calgary or Lethbridge company interested in TAP, more information on the program and eligibility requirements are available in the application package.
If you are a Red Deer company interested in TAP, more information on the program and eligibility requirements are available in the application package.
The program starts with an intensive two-day training session to introduce your company to the program and the resources available. Over these two days, you’ll also learn how to build and put a new Market Entry Plan in place.
Leading Canadian export advisors take you through the steps during interactive workshops.
A few days after the two-day workshop, you’ll spend the day with a mentor who will help you expand your export strategy and write your export plan.
You’ll get one-on-one coaching from experts in international business development. They’ll guide you through the Export Assessment Tool, which will then be reviewed by leading Canadian export advisors.
The advisors will give you a short report outlining the strengths and gaps related to your company's Market Entry Plan. Then you’llbe matched with the TAP Calgary's lead and supporting partners to fill in those gaps.
For the rest of the program, you’ll work with TAP Calgary's lead & supporting partners and Calgary Economic Development export specialists to finalize your new Market Entry Plan.
By the end of the six weeks, you’ll be activating your new Market Entry Plan with help from the experts you’re working with.
