Our mission

We want to make Calgary the city of choice for big thinkers and entrepreneurs. To do that, we tell Calgary's story to the world and shine a light on the strategic initiatives that fuel economic growth and contribute to the city’s resilience and diversity.

What is economic development?

We like to say that Calgary’s economy is too important to be left to chance. That’s where we come in. We make it easier to start a business in Calgary. We make introductions, lead trade missions and even help entrepreneurs find real estate.
