SAIT digiTALK: Female powered movements: Starting with purpose, leading to innovation.

In 2020, technology, industry and the just-in-time need for education collided. Change accelerated at an unprecedented pace. Today, this technology-transformed knowledge economy is craving the consumption of diverse and innovative mindsets. Female-powered movements are critical to meeting the needs of digital transformation — starting with purpose, leading to innovation.

During this talk, you will hear from Dr. Raynie Wood, Dean for the School of Information and Communications Technologies at SAIT,, as well as Shelley Kuipers, SAIT alumni, prominent entrepreneur, and co-founder of the financial feminist platform, The51, and Nancy Taipale, a tech-savvy entrepreneur who built one of the first female-owned social media sites in Canada.
